this is lemonade

A mindful, grateful, creative life: Life constantly hurls lemons at us. I’m on a mission to make lemonade as best I can, by God’s grace.

About

I started this blog at the beginning of 2012 after a long hiatus in diligent writing. I changed my mind about the title a couple of weeks in, after the first emotional roller coaster of the year. During that incident I was given the privilege to see what a long way I had come from the me I was five years before. It turned my perspective around.

One of the things I’d like to achieve with this blog, is to keep it determined and hopeful. In spite of everything that we are bombarded with daily, I want this to be my haven of gratefulness.

Whilst travelling home after work on the Tube before the Easter weekend in 2012 and gazing out at the late spring afternoon sunshine, it suddenly dawned on me. Life constantly hurls lemons at us. I’m on a mission to make lemonade as best I can, by God’s grace.

This is lemonade.

  10. Don’t know if my sister has commented yet, but just wanted to say: what a lovely blog! And name! And header….

    • Thank you so much! I believe that whoever commented previously must have been the other sister, seeing as you do not appear to be aware of the comment I received recently which led me to your blog. But I am not to know, as neither of you have identified which of the two sisters you are 😉
I will gratefully accept the compliments though! I must say, I loved your blog and have started following! 🙂
